UREC Swim School is group swim lessons designed for 3-6 or 3-8 children participants who enjoy learning in small group settings. Different levels allow you to choose which class level is best suited for your child’s current skill level. Swimmers will receive 8, 30 minute lessons per session.
Swim School lessons will be offered at 5:00, 5:30 and 6:00 PM.
All lessons will be held Monday – Thursday with Fridays reserved for make-up days.
*If inclement weather occurs, swim school will be moved to the indoor pool.
*Registration closes the Friday before classes begin.
UREC Swim School Information
Level: Parent and Child
Ages: 6 Months – 3 years
Class Description: This level is designed to familiarize children with the pool and increase their comfort level in the water. Parent or caregiver is required to accompany each child into the water and participate in class.
Level: Aqua Tot
Class Description: This level is designed to teach preschool children to learn basic water safety skills independently.
Ages: 5+ Years
Class Description: This level is designed to teach children the basics of swimming, such as bobbing, floating, kicking, and simple arm movements.
Ages: 5+ Years
Class Description: This level is designed to introduce new strokes and increase basic skills.

If a scheduled time does not reach the 3 participant minimum:
- Shift to a new time offering
- Shift to a new session offering
- Pay the difference for a private lesson
- Receive a full refund
