Paddle the tannin waters of Bayou Teche, drawing waters from Bayou Courtableau in Port Barre and flows south into the infamous nationally preserved Atchafalaya River. Boat landings along the river provide plenty of opportunities to stop for picnics. Beautiful homes, historic reservations, plantations, and a museum can be seen from the bayou!
