UREC Student Recreation Complex
The UREC Student Recreation Center (or UREC SRC) provides a modern and energetic atmosphere conducive to the needs of our patrons. The UREC SRC is a 121,000 sq foot innovative and comprehensive recreational facility featuring state of the art equipment, high-level programming, and modern amenities to meet the ever-changing needs and expectations of our patrons.
The UREC Student Recreation Complex is located at the corner of South Campus Drive and Minnie Fisk Lane.
UREC Sport & Adventure Complex
The Sport and Adventure Complex (SAC) houses three multipurpose sport fields, a 24-foot portable climbing wall, and a challenge course. The SAC fields are home to many Sport Clubs for practice and competition and various intramural sports The complex also serves as headquarters for the UREC Adventure Education Challenge Program providing a wide range of programs including leadership training. The complex is available for event and tournament rentals.

Expansion and Redesign Project
The University is in the planning and design stages of an expansion and redesign project that will increase recreation space at LSU to approximately 250,000 sq. ft. The project is expected to include an outdoor leisure pool, an adventure center, as well as additional fields, courts and multipurpose studios. LSU UREC operates the Student Recreation Center with an adjacent field complex and the Sport & Adventure Complex.
